A monthly transparency report with privacy
Show income, expenses and balances in a form useful to every resident.
Updated on
State the reporting period, opening balance, income, expenses and closing balance. Connect expenses with supporting records and label entries awaiting reconciliation. A polished report still needs investigation when its figures do not match the records.
A residents’ summary can include aggregate debt without identifying debtors. Separate committee permissions from a resident’s personal view and never publish an entire bank statement openly. Redact unnecessary details in receipts.
Explain exceptional expenses and list follow-up work, such as checking a supplier credit. Retain versions and publication dates. Check mobile readability, accessibility and whether someone absent from the assembly can understand the report.
Checklist
- State balances for a defined period
- Aggregate debt and limit personal details
